People often ask me how I got into tattooing, and the truth is that tattooing found me at a time when I felt completely lost.Growing up, life wasn’t always easy. There were times when I felt like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. I struggled to find where I belonged and spent years searching for purpose while dealing with challenges that made every day feel like an uphill battle. Like many people, I experienced loss, disappointment, and moments where I questioned what my future would look like.One of the darkest periods of my life came when I lost someone who meant everything to me. The grief was overwhelming, and for a long time I felt disconnected from the world around me. I needed an outlet something that would allow me to channel the emotions I couldn’t put into words.That outlet became art.What started as simple sketches soon became an obsession. Drawing gave me peace when nothing else could. It gave me a sense of control during a time when everything felt uncertain. I found myself spending countless hours studying artwork, refining my skills, and losing myself in the creative process.The first time I stepped into a tattoo studio, something clicked. I realised tattooing was more than just creating art it was storytelling. Every tattoo carried meaning. Every piece represented a memory, a struggle, a victory, or a loved one. For the first time, I saw a career that combined creativity with the ability to make a genuine impact on people’s lives.I dedicated myself completely to mastering the craft. I spent years learning, practising, and striving for perfection. Every line, every detail, and every design became an opportunity to honour the trust my clients placed in me. I understood the significance of what I was creating because I knew firsthand how much meaning a piece of art can hold during life’s most difficult moments. Today, tattooing is more than my profession it’s my purpose. It transformed my life when I needed direction the most, and it continues to inspire me every day. My goal is simple: to create tattoos that people are proud to wear forever, while giving every client an experience built on respect, care, and genuine passion for the craft.What began as a way to heal became the career that gave my life meaning, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
